It should find your OE6 info and offer to import it all automatically. You may have to set up the account again, I m not sure about that, but if so just go into OE6 and write down all the relevent info and copy it back into the account section in Windows Mail. The one piece you WILL need is your password, which will NOT be imported automatically, and you of course can t see it when you go look at your Outlook Express info. IN OE6, go to Tools-gt;Accounts to see what your existing info is.

If I upgrade to Windows Mail 7 from Outlook Express 6, then will my messages and address book be imported? -
OK , I have a Win XP Home SP 2 system with Outlook Express 6 pre-installed in it. I have this e-mail client (i.e. Outlook Express 6) configured to download all my mails from my Gmail account through POP access. I want to upgrade it to Windows Mail 7. The question is if I upgrade to WM 7 then will all the mess that has already been stored in outlook express and my address book and contact lists be imported to windows mail. And even if they are, then do I need to reconfigure it again, to download mails from my Gmail account or will the same settings work? Any kind of suggestions or help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
