Check out the link below. It describes how to pretty well.

As an IT Specialist, Matt should know that just installing the other OS won t let you automaticly choose between the two OS s. You need to use the repair disc of Vista to fix the modified boot.ini file so you can log into Vista. Once you are there you can use any boot manager to modify the boot.ini again to include windows 7.

well use the boot disc of the OS that isn t on there yet and install that on there and just use the partition that isn t being used and then install. Now when you are all done it will reboot and you should get a choice of which one you want to use. I honestly think you will need a bigger hard drive because you wont have much room for anything else on there.

Click on the start button and type computer management into the box. Click on Computer Management You should see Storage on the left, go to that and then click on disk management. After a few moments it will show you all your drives and the various partitions on them. Right click on the partition you want to shrink and follow the wizard. That s it.

There s a good Partitioning Tool in Vista, but don t even bother, your hard drive is way too small. Get yourself a larger hard drive (160GB +) and reset the jumpers to quot;Slavequot;, and install it. Then, install W7 (BETA) there, no partition required. TIP: BETA means: Expect W7 to crash, often. Maybe you should wait until the public W7 Release, I know I would!

In Vista you can resize a hard drive partition. Search for it in help, it will tell you everything you need to know. I would try to free up at least 20 more GB on your hard drive, I heard Windows 7 is pretty big.

Use a partitioning tool to partition your hard drive. Install windows 7 on the other partition.

dont bother, your computer is not good enough.
