What do you guys think about Windows Internet Explorer 7, Is it HOT or NOT? -

By revamping IE, did Microsoft do a good job or was it just another unnecessary flop? Do you find it user friendly or does using it feel like walking thru burning hell? What do you like about it and/or what do you dont?

i guess it was neccessary, coz they were trying to fight Firefox, Opera etc that were really chewing into the market, but to all intents and purposes, its a cheap, poor attempt to mimic Firefox. that at first glance, crashed too often, was slower when loading pages, haven t bothered to find out anymore about it after that! back to my SAFE, wonderful Firefox

Y ppl need other Browsers for....? fast, easy, convinience?? IE7 is the best.

In some ways it is better than Firefox. I like being able to click on a button on the tab bar to open a new tab. It does everything else that it is supposed to do. One problem does exist in Vista and that is that some web sites will not display because they contain Adobe Flash Player graphics. I dont know if it is just MY computer or if everyone is having this problem.

I think Firefox 2 is better!

it is not that much hot what people expect but firefox is better then IE

I find the only great feature of ie7 is tabs on the top to open webpages on so not so hot but just the slightest bit helpful.

Please try to get out the house more.......

IE 7 bundles a lot of user requests that make it more user friendly as Microsoft would have put it. But if we look around, far more reliable and far better systems are already available as Freeware (e.g. FireFox). Tabbed browsing is something that is available in Netscape and Firefox for ages, so if Microsoft adds it in IE 7 I dont see any reason for them to be so excited. And like all other Microsoft products, it has its own world of eccentricities with JAVA. So, No, its not a HOT software, just another shout from marketing team of Microsoft.

Use it and be of my opinion. it is HOT to even come closer. No or Not it is simply never rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... upgrade or install it. If done you will remember it for all wrong reasons.

There are way better browsers than IE7.
