How can I go back to using Windows Vista after downloading the Windows 7 beta? -

I would like to (if possible) just get rid of windows 7 and start using vista again. I do not have a Vista CD as my Laptop came with it built in.

add and remove programs and unintall IF all you did was the upgrade IF you wiped Vista off and installed windows 7 your going to need the disk

My name’s Ron. I work on the Windows Outreach Team. Some laptops that were shipped without actual discs have had this problem. I’d suggest checking this page for next steps: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326246. It’s the Microsoft support site and can get you on the road to obtaining a recovery disc. Also, depending on the manufacturer of your laptop and when it was purchased, you may have recovery software located in a partition on your hard drive. Did you notice a partition in your drive when you were installing Windows 7? I hope this helps a bit. Feel free to reach out if you have anything else. Cheers, Ron Windows Outreach Team

you are gonna have to buy the vista disk and install it im suprised you didn t think about that before you installed an os that is for testing and expires in august as your main os

Call the manufacturer and demand a re-install CD. They cannot refuse to give it to you. They can t make you pay for it. You own that copy of the software. You are entitled to it.

you did not read the instructions call your computer manufacture and see if you can get a recovery disk if not you will have to buy a vista disk

If you reformatted you should have a recovery partition. Boot from that. If not, you are screwed.

well im sorry you need a Vista CD :(
