Have tried windows 7 beta with new multimedia betas and have found problems any help? ? -

Basically i have been trying out the new windows 7 beta build 7000, and its very cool, better than vista, but, the mutimedia programs such as WMP 12 Beta and the new media centre look really good but then i find out that WMP doesnt even have an equillizer and actuall has bad sound quallity, and even worse the media center looks very cool but it runs so slow its unbelivable. all s i really wanted to know is there a way to fix the speed of the medai center but also is there some sort of plugin download for the media player to add an equillizer just to improve the sound a bit because it does look really goood or just somthing to improve the sound quailty.

Its a early beta program that is still full of bugs that only Microsoft can fix based on your feedback.

Have you looked to see if Win 7 is using a generic sound driver or one specifically for your sound card - remember, this is a beta and there can be problems. This is why they recommend that you do not use it on your primary computer... BTW, if you think that media player has been stripped down you should see the beta of the new movie maker. They really made that basic.

Yeah there s a way to fix it. Go to the store and either pick up windows XP or Windows vista 64 bit, and wait for the real version of Windows seven to come out.
