I just upgraded windows to windows 7 and I hate the format. Is there any way to go back? -

I lost the shortcut to outlook express and the toolbar is too confusing.

To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 to return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP Click quot;Start, quot; and then click quot;Control Panel.quot; Click quot;Add or Remove Programs.quot; Check quot;Show Updatesquot; at the top of the dialog box. Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 that you are running, and then click quot;Change/Remove.quot; Uninstall that, restart your PC and you are on IE6

Simply go to add/remove programs in control panel, and click remove internet explorer 7 in the list. You will need to reboot your computer before you can use IE6 again,

which one is 7 agains??

Since IE6 is a Windows program, it cannot be uninstalled no matter how hard you try. But IE7 can be uninstalled. Go to: 1) Click Start 2)Click quot;Add or Remove Programsquot; 3) Find Windows Internet Explorer 7 (way at the bottom) 4) Select it and click uninstall 5) The setup will prompt you that if any of the software depends on IE7, don t uninstall (if the software will do okay with IE6, this notice doesn t matter) 6) Follow the wizard and restart your computer 7) Wallah! IE6

If you want to go back , just UN install it you get IE6 back.if you want the bar do the followings: click on tools at the right side of the bar go down to menu bar put a check on it. now you can see File,Edit,View,Favorites, Tools,Help. now about E-mail: do the following: Tool s, go down to toolbars go down to customize when the menu open add the mail icon from the left menu to the right menu then move it up up up all the way. Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 that you are running, and then click quot;Change/Remove.quot; (If you are running Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview — March 20 or later, it is not necessary to check quot;Show Updates.quot;)

Go to Cnet.com (downloads). They will have the older versions and they are a very reputable site.

Crazy thought there... but maybe you should try Firefox. I know change is bad and all but Firefox is the way to go!

Before you go back you may want to try this menu bar tweak. http://www.snapfiles.com/get/ie7menutopt...

I think you mean Internet Explorer 7 - You can go to http://www.oldversion.com to download version 6 again

Why don t people try to get used to IE7? I think it s WAY better then IE6
