Windows 7? How do I burn an ISO file to make an install DVD? -

OK. I downloaded the Beta version of Windows 7 from Microsoft. Now it wants me to burn an ISO file to make an install DVD. I tried several burning programs and they want me use a CD. It is not BIG enough to hold all the info. I put a DVD in the burner and it says no media..uuggghh. Please help. Thanks.

i have the windows 7 beta and its about 2.44GB so a CD is no way near big enough, i used a dvd and the ISO burner software i used was ;PowerIso; i think the free trial lets you burn them.. http://www.poweriso.com/download.htm or you can try this, its also highly recomended. MagicIso http://www.magiciso.com/download.htm hope this helps.

The first thing is there is no software for window s 7. Because it is beta and beta means EXPERIMENTAL software. You are a texter for window s 7. You should never load a beta OS in your computer because there is NO support for it. The best thing you can do is find the recovery disc and redo your computer.

Try using Active@ ISO Burner: http://www.ntfs.com/iso-burning.htm It should burn DVD s fine. If it doesn t work, make sure your drive can actually write DVD s, and that the type of blank DVD you are using is compatible with your drive (+/-R(W)).

OK, from what you said... I hate to ask... but... Is it a DVD burner? It should say DVD-R, DVD+R or something like that on the drive cover. Is the media the right DVD media for the drive?

Maybe the DVD is faulty? Try another one if possible or another burning program if that fails. Are you sure you have a DVD burner?

Are you use your computer has a DVD burner? If it says no media, it s probable that your drive isn t capable of burning DVDs.

Try this program http://www.ntfs.com/iso-burning.htm
