Hi Arthur, I’m Ron, a member of the Windows outreach team. I know you’re looking for a sort of condensed version of the new features and update that are in Windows 7 right now (in its Beta version). The biggest improvements that Beta testers are noticing are changes in load times for the OS and other application compute speeds (from what I’ve been reading). Besides that, though, there are new features like an improved task bar, improved device management, and the new HomeGroup networking tool. For more info, head over here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... That page basically leads you through the new and updated features of Windows 7. Hope this helps out. Cheers, Ron Windows Outreach Team
Join the windows live community, get the news letters ,they are running it and giving out free advice on tricks and operating techniques on their site.Windows seven is coming out on top of vista so that says it all for me.Even the windows live package beats anything else on the free market.Only office 3 is a top class alternative to microsoft.
W7 is out in public beta testing now. Release date probably Sept. 2009. Features similar to Vista, but you may have a choice of what is in yours. The OS is faster. 15gb space needed. I too run XP. Wait for 6 months after release. In Goole box, put in WXPnews . It s a weekly bulletin.
so you think we have time to read the wikipedia stuff and condense it for you the good things in life are never easy or readymade read it yourself and be glad paul was nice enough to google it for you.
