IE 7 closes all my browser windows? -

If I have multiple IE 7 windows open, if I close one all the windows close. Example I check my e-mail online, the e-mail will open in a separate browser window, when I close that window (done with the e-mail) all my other browser windows will close. (vista, ie7) Thanks.
