Windows 7 beta is currently out. Overall, it s a stable release other than some minor bugs. You can test out the beta here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... Be sure to install the latest updates if you do plan on installing it. Also, report any bugs, comments, questions, or concerns using the Send Feedback icon located on the desktop. If you like to try new things, Windows 7 will be the right thing to try out. There will be updated builds as the months past by and in my opinion, the Windows 7 final be will be released sometime in the beginning of June - August. You should follow these steps if you install Windows 7: - Backup your important files, such as: songs, documents, videos, etc. - You will need to get a key and the download here: https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience... - Burn the ISO to a DVD - Install Windows 7 - Install the latest updates, be sure to look for the KB961367 update, if it s there great, if not you can get it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai... - Reboot the computer, if necessary - Transfer your important files onto your computer
The public beta is already out. But the final version won t be out for a while. I read that it could take 3 years to develop. If you get Vista, make sure you buy a computer with enough RAM to run smoothly.
