What are the major bugs in Windows 7 beta? -

I m going to install Windows 7 beta tomorrow and I want to know whether there are any major bugs that could crash my computer permanently. I know I must be using it on a test computer but I don t want to waste any computer. So tell me, are there any of those major os killing bugs that could put my whole computer to doom?

As yet to my amazement I have not found any. I recommend that you create a seperate partition http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... LUG.

Hello Avi Arun- My name is Jeff and I work with the Windows Outreach Team. So far Windows 7 has not been too “buggy”, however there is one you should know of that can possible corrupt Mp3 files. Here is a link to the Microsoft page that describes the bug and offers a download patch. I hope you enjoy Windows 7 and thanks for trying the Beta. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai... Nothing like that. It runs fine.

nothing like that showed up yet fingers crossed

Seven has a similar bug that Vista had with sleeping and hibernating which could lead to the corruption of the partition on which seven is installed, but that is not likely. Windows seven is fine, quot;almostquot; everything that runs in vista will run in Seven. The five programs I have installed and tested have not caused any trouble yet. The beta is good enough to install because any issue is not that likely to corrupt your entire system, just the partition on which it is installed. Edit: Go ahead and install it. I just used a vista specific program which takes away shortcut arrows on all of the shortcuts and it worked.
