It really doesn t matter what they say now because it s never correct but as of now the release date is slated for October 2009.

Its rumoured to be some time later this year or early next. You can download Windows 7 beta on Torrent - about 1 million people already have. OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard will be out before Windows 7.
Your still got a solid year at the least buddy. There is no specific date yet. You can get a hold of a beta on through torrents but hey it s beta not a full release
