I just downloaded and installed windows 7 and its GREAT!! -except for one thing. i use the laptop fine and when im done with it i close the lid so it goes to sleep. it goes to sleep perfectly under 2 seconds (better than vista) but my problem is when i open the lid, my computer doesnt awake, i ve shutdown and retried waking it up several times waiting 10 minutes atleast after i open it, is this a flaw in windows 7? anyone else having a problem with this? I thought sleeping and waking up were one of the specialties of windows 7 listed....help me out here?!?!
i hope for your sake you have put this on an old computer you no longer need and not on your main computer. as it is a BETA program. ?
In short, it s still in Beta. It s not been perfect in any version of Windows, actually. Try updating your video driver and/or your BIOS. Otherwise, keep an eye out for fixes.
