Does itunes work on windows 7? -

ok, so i m running windows 7 beta on a partition on my hard drive, just wondering if it runs itunes?

I was able to run iTunes 8 in the Windows 7 beta, but had to run it in compatibility mode. You can do this by finding the iTunes program in the start menu and right-clicking the icon and accessing properties . Then, click the compatibility tab. Under compatibility mode, Check run this program in compatibility mode for: and specify what compatibility mode you want to run in. I selected Vista. If you don t run iTunes in a compatibility mode, it throws an error and won t let you run the program, but once you do this it works. I m running iTunes on the 64-bit beta. FYI, I have only tried to play music and have not tested iPod/iPhone connectivity or other functionality.
