Can you format your drive when installing Windows 7? -

While installing Windows 7,does it ask you if you want to format your drive.

It only seems to work if you use XP, however formatting for a beta OS is not the best of ideas, i would back up your work and run W7 on a virtual OS

I wouldn t recommend installing a BETA version it s not the finished product and susceptible to frequent crashes

Yes, like XP, it will ask you if you want to delete a partition. I am not sure if you can use, free space in the drive, so you can do dual boot.

I wouldn t do it if it asked and I would install Windows 7, since it s still in beta stages and there are at least 1-2 more beta stages to follow after this one.
