Is there any possibility for Win XP Pro SP2 to get internet explorer 7 and windows media player 11.? -

Automatic updates are not seen in this edition. During installation of this os it has never asked the license key for it. Frequently the download gets freezed and this is only drawback im unable to download anything from the internet.The browser itself takes huge usage of ram and also the internet.please provide me a solution that would help me to get out of this problem. Get another version of Windows XP. Preferably a legal one. The reason your Windows is a bit unstable and acts wierd because it s a pirated one and modified one.

It may be a Torjan or other virus attack on your system. get a free copy of AVG or Kaspersky anti-virus and do a scan. If no virus detected. then you should download SP3 patch for WinXP from microsoft support site. After that you will be able to enjoy Better Automatic Updates. Haf a Good day
