Is Windows 7 going to be as bad as Vista or as good as XP? -

Microsoft that in 3 years the new member of the windows family in to be released, Code Named Windows 7. Is it going to as bad as vista or as good as XP?

nothing is wrong with vista except the people that don t know how to use a simple system and windows 7 is like vista and faster and both are more stable than xp and far better than xp

7 is a up grade for vista, nothing more It has some new features and new candy to the eye, Windows 7 is years behind Linux The big problem, windows is users are still controlled in the way they use windows, and thats the way MS like it, MS will not let users alter anything what so ever when it comes to reorganizing the operating system (kernel) itself, to suit their personal programing needs. some vista lovers also need to read the reports about Vista in business and why it has not being use in the real world of business, before they say people don t know how to use it

well i have been using the beta and it is better than vista so far it has the speed of XP and the look of vista we will have to wait for the complete os and see what its like and quot;nothing is wrong with vista except the people that don t know how to use a simple systemquot; its not that people can t use it its that it hogs memory and when its hogging memory the system runs slow and not everyone can afford 2 gigs of memory for it to run

I switched to a Mac when Vista came out. But, I have Windows 7 on my desktop amp; on my MacBook (bootcamp) and I have to say that Windows 7 might get me back to Microsoft.

vista is great, if you know what you re doing, and most people that complain about it don t, windows 7 is just like vista, only a bit different.

all the initial problems with windows vista have been fixed and i can no longer find any problems with it, and i am very picky i ve been running vista for over a year now and love it so i don t think windows 7 could be any worse i do think they are trashing a lot of the old legacy drivers which created problems in vista so don t expect to run windows 7 well on a old machine

better than vista and better than xp. minimum specifications= 1GB RAM 1GHz processor graphics (unknown) really all you need is a gud pc

hopefully as good as XP but where windows is going, best bet is worse then vista

there is nothing wrong with vista ,i used to have xp now i have vista for ages and ive not had one problem with it ,i also know plenty of ppl with it and they havnt had a problem ,

I think Windows 7 is much faster than vista (I have the beta). It hardly ever crashes and looks amazing. The security is much better and there are only a few minor bugs that i have come across but will hopefully be gone when the final version is released. So to answer your question, i think that it wont be as good as XP it will be better!!!

I also have windows 7, and vista, i partitioned the hard drive so i can run either one at start up. However since installing windows 7, i ve not once run my computer on vista, and windows 7 is only a beta, Not yet had any trouble with it, seems really stable, really fast! Its like they ve fixed all the problems you could have with vista. I love it! Defiantly the best yet, Can t wait for the release. But its 8 months away, or so I ve heard. YouTube reviews to get a lil taster :D

Windows could be good, very good. All that MS need todo is stop being so greedy. They make 100 s of millions on the release of an OS. But then charge $18.95 for a theme pack????? that took about 30 mins to create Coz it is that basic. Windows should incorporate the power of Linux into their OS, Linux are will take over in the future, Coz linux will start to execute windows code fater than windows eventually. Windows will just be a virtual machine.

My laptop came with Windows XP Media Center Edition, and I have installed Windows 7 beta on it. Mind you that my laptop is a gaming laptop and it is 3.5yrs old. I have used all versions of windows EXCEPT Vista, and I have to say that MS has done something good for once. It runs as fast, or faster than with XP on it (oh,win7 is also a media center edition). I ve had it on my laptop for 2wks now and the only problem was finding drivers for my Air Card, and Wi-Fi card. But all I needed was to find the Vista drivers for them and now I have everything running on Win7 as was on WinXP. This is the first version of Windows that I will probably go out and buy to put on my PC. Hope this helps.

Every OS has initial issues when it first comes out. XP had them, 2000 had them, 7 will have some. its just the name of the game people. Thats why they have updates. Everything that comes out first has problems, phones/cars/etc. It looks pretty good though, i will upgrade to 7 when it comes out with a SP

its an updated version of vista

I have it on beta and it seems pretty good so far. It seems a lot more efficient than Vista. I think its going to do well.

I have been using Windows 7 since its initial release, and have found no major bugs thus far. It took me no longer than two days to find major flaws with Vista. Windows 7 is built on top of the Vista OS, but many major flaws have been patched, plus the Mac-like dock at the bottom and many other new graphic features are very appealing and make working on a windows computer much easier and more efficient. I think Windows 7 is here to stay, and it will be a great addition to the family of Windows OS. With the release of Snow Leopard by Apple at the end of the year, Windows 7 is going to be the perfect Windows OS to release to the public to combat the mac fanboys, and strengthen their userbase altogether.
