do all programs that work for windows vista work with windows 7 beta? or will some things not be compatible

No all programs do not work. It s hit and miss right now, I would say more won t work than ones that will.

Like you, Jason, I m still testing, but did you find it odd that you had to turn off the Windows Firewall in order to download the Windows updates?

Anything that worked with Vista supposedly(I;m still testing).
