How can I install VS2008 under Windows 7? -

I am running Windows 7 (6956) and when installing VS2008 I get a setup integration toolkit error no matter what compatibility settings I use. What should I do?

What do you expect from a Pre-Beta of a testing OS? Your only other option is to use Vista for VS, hopefully you re dual-booting, if not, then it looks like in order to use VS that s your only other option. A neat program that you can use once you install Vista and Windows 7 on separate partitions, if you do, is EasyBCD: http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS-E... You can manager Bootloader settings in it and you can go to the quot;Useful Utilitiesquot; button in the program and select quot;IRebootquot; and install that, so whenever you want to boot into another OS, you can simply right-click on the program in the system tray and select the OS.

You talk in the future body, good luck to find someone with beta of windows 7 that tried/installed VS2008.... good luck!
