With the arrival of Windows 7 Beta 1 will the irritating MAC fan boys at last be silenced? -

Surely not even they cannot deny Windows 7 is shaping up to be something very special.

I really hope so, those commercials mac vs pc are such a smear campain, we gotta insult pc to make us look better, also we gotta finally shut the damn lynix biotches up too

Hahahahaha! Yup! There s one of those fanboys right there! XD Report Abuse

Mac quot;Fanboysquot; are probably untouched by Windows 7 after the catastrophe that is Windows Vista which I just recently had to reinstall. The Mac and Windows OS s are quite different and hopefully will continue that trend. I believe that ounce windows 7 is released next year and if it a fixed Windows Vista as they say it is then perhaps it will be a worthy predecessor for Windows XP. I personally don t see what can be different, more of a Vista/XP hybrid.

I m sorry to tell you, there s no god to shut anyone up, the phoenix rises again. I don t know if Windows 7 will have an impact on Mac fans, but the question is why does it matter? This whole Mac vs. PC war is getting old. And not just that, all of the computer wars that are going on is just a big waste of time. Why worry who s right and which OS is the best, when we should think about how to make ALL computer OS s better, in their own way. In the end it s just a matter of silencing everyone. Stay with your choice of OS for whatever reason and shut up. (LUG- This answer wasn t really directed at you, but more to everyone that is at war with each other.) =)

I think only God can really shut up a Mac fanboy or any fanboy in fact, but anyway, they are already complaining that the new task bar is a Tiger dock rip off whereas the linux fan boys are complaining about the new taskbar resembling the Kde 3 task bar.

LUG, you already know the answer to that question. ROTFLMAO!!!!! But it s a good way of advertising M$ s latest ________ well.... whatever you want to call it. Personally, I ll stick with my PCLinuxOS, thankyouverymuch! hehehe ]:)

like religious people, fanboy s can t be reasoned with. fanboy s will never be silenced.

You can t shut fanboys up, they only accept what they believe and will not change.

Nope A lot of Apple fanboys are already saying 7 s superbar is a ripoff of OS X s dock.... All I can say is... quot;What?quot;

How can i install windows 7 when i have already extracted files from the .iso? -

Im going to dual boot xp and windows 7, it would not allow me to use my 700mb cd-r to hold the .iso, i have extracted the files to my new partition for windows 7and have been trying to use my usb drives to boot but they are 2gb not being able to hold the 2.5gb 32bit os. Any help or advice?

you need to burn it to a dvd i used nero for that

You need to do this off a DVD R you wont be able to use a usb yet its in the code Burn ISO to dvdr http://www.makingcomputers.net/WINDOWS7.... install guide http://www.sriraminhell.com/2009/01/wind... http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... http://www.makingcomputers.net/

buy a DVD that is 4.7gb in size, thats a pretty standard size and will easily fit it on that. then burn the iso to the dvd and u will be set to install, make sure u do it correctly tho.

Make Vista taskbar look quot;Glassquot;, similar to Windows 7? -

Is there any software or visual styles to make Vista s taskbar look like glass, as seen in Windows 7 demostration. Please provide links, if possible. Thanks in advanced.

Can t, it s not glass, I suppose there might be UNSTABLE third-party replacements You can try downloading Windows 7 itself, why keep Windows Vista? Just remember to buy Windows 7 when it s out... 64-Bit: http://dl.btjunkie.org/torrent/Microsoft... 32-Bit: http://dl.btjunkie.org/torrent/Microsoft... To enable SuperBar, look at http://www.withinwindows.com/2008/11/02/... To remove the text in the bottom right corner, please resort to new articles, none is posted on the internet at the moment, but Windows Vista s USER32.DLL.MUI when Resource Hacker-ed, allows you to blank out the string of this text, the reason why you can edit the string table, is so you can edit it for your own language/customisation. Can t wait to get Windows 7, I hope it s a good buy!

You can easily (to a certain degree) make your own in .NET with the DWM library. VC++ 2008.NET made the SuperBar tool bar for the task bar (P.S. It s not a new task bar, it s just a plug-in tool bar for it, and this tool bar gives the impression it s an entirely new one by expanding height... Report Abuse

How do i go to history on intrnet explorer 7 for windows vista? -

To find websites you have visited On the toolbar, click the Favorites Center button (Looks like a yellow star). Click the History button. Click the day that you visited the website. In the list of websites that you visited on that day, click the site you want to go to. You can change the way in which the websites you have visited are displayed. You can sort them by date, site name, most frequently visited, or most recently visited. To do this, click the arrow to the right of the History button, and then choose an option from the list.

How different is the Windows 7 beta really? -

For anyone who has the Windows 7 beta, How much more stable, if at all, is it in comparison to the current Vista with SP1? And, are the new features that impressive? Also, Will it be worth upgrading to? -Thanks-

Hey Colbat- Gizmodo has provided well-rounded coverage of Windows 7 Beta since its release. Here are some articles to take a look at: http://i.gizmodo.com/5136781/gizmodos-co... The Windows 7 homepage is a good place to see what new features are included in the Windows 7 Beta: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... If you are considering upgrading from Vista to the Beta, be sure to backup all of your files and be ready to reinstall Vista once the beta trial period expires Aug. 1 2009. Thanks for your interest in Windows 7 Beta! Jeff Windows Outreach Team

Windows 7 will run faster then Vista. Thats all! They are using the same kernel and only making minor changes to the GUI. Will it be very intuitive? I think not. Will they fix the problems that make Vista harder to use then XP? Prob not. Its funny how simple things in XP you can just click on and in Vista the only way to do them is through DOS. That not making an OS easier to use.

I see little difference for my use. It does have a nice fish in the center of the screen for bckground pic (by default) Worth upgrading to whatever it is finally called? Depends on each person and their use of computers.

Where Can I Download Windows 7 Beta? -

Is there a was to make Windows 7 beta permanent? -

The beta is set to stop working on August 1, 2009. has anyone figured out a way to make it permanent?

I would say if there is a way you re going to find it as a cracked version on a torrent website. However, thats quite a long time away, and the real version may be released not long after.

Buy the release disk and run the install, or Microsoft may offer licences for sale to make it an official install.

Why would you want to? There are already a boatload of reported bugs. At least wait for a beta that doesn t have so many bugs.
