It is still in beta testing and won t be released until Aug./Sept (if all goes well). I will be a long time before they get the bugs out
Windows 7 is Microsoft’s successor to Windows Vista. At the moment Windows 7 is only in its beta stage and is not for use as a main OS on someone’s primary computer. If you are eager to try it out, you can either perform an upgrade installation from Vista (but be sure to back everything up) or a clean installation on a partitioned hard drive. If you do decide to try Windows 7 Beta, it will expire on Aug. 1, 2009 and you will have to reinstall your previous OS. Here are some links to take a look at before you make the decision. Thanks for your interest in Win7 Beta. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... Windows 7 was released very quickly due to so many problems with Vista. People were demanding an upgrade from XP with less problems. Windows 7 appears to have many new, better features. There are however many problems. It doesn t always work 100% with iexplorer 8 or if the drivers are not completely updated. Overall I still think it is a good choice. Hope this helps
