Can i have 3 windows xp, vista and 7 ? -

i have installed xp and vista in my pc and i want to install windows 7 now, it is possible to keep all 3 windows ?

yes, just run one as a kernel, or two if you have to.

yes you can if you plan on installing them on 1 hard drive but separate partitions then you need to install xp first then vista then windows 7 this is because xp won t recognize the vista boot loader and will overwrite it, then you won t be able to boot vista or windows 7 my advise is to download virtualpc 2007 sp1 from microsoft and install windows 7 as a virtual machine, virtualpc doesn t support vista home basic or premium, so it s best to install on xp, providing you have enough hard drive space, i ve already done this and windows 7 isn t worth it just yet, at least not until the release candidates are out (rc1 rc2) etc i hope this helps

well if you ve got 3 pc s then yes, but windows seven has not come out yet, theres not even a release date yet. im guessing windows seven may come out in 2010 or 2011? im not sure but if u want a release date on windows seven, let me know and ill find out wat it is. ok the 2 ur talking about are windows xp and vista, you ll need two pc s for that. the windows operating program that i would reconmend for u would be vista because its easier than xp (my opinion). but if u want xp, u can get it at staples for $150 because i was there just the other day and staples had xp for that much.

yes, you ll just use the same type of boot loader you re using now to switch between XP and Vista, and also you need to make sure you have the allocated hard drive space for Windows Seven... hopefully your system can handle it... but yes it is very possible to do it. good luck!

7? what windows 7? lol theoretically it is possible... make more partitions, and install every windows u want in a different partition. but i don`t know how good would that be, they can always fight between each other and as a result u might get some good errors from time to time

Yes, but you need to keep partitioning your harddrive as it will fck up your pc!! But i reccomend NOT using windows, download Linux Ubuntu or Fedora!! Better than windows and you can have it when you start up your computer!! :D

To test it? I would test in a virtual machine. From experience, new window version that come out tend to gave glitches. Look up Microsoft Virtual PC and approach it that way. Good Luck

It should be possible to triple-boot, but seeing how 7 isn t even out yet, nobody is going to know.

Yes, as long as you have separate Volumes for the installation. I have three, W2000, Vista 32bit and Vista 64bit.

I would have thought so, I d check MSDN on how you would do this as 7 has only been out in beta since Friday.

7?
