How to set up a dual boot of Windows 7 and Vista? -

I assume it would be best to partition my hard drive so I don t get rid of Vista. Would it be better to install Windows 7 on my regular hard drive or my external one or is this possible? I have never set up a dual boot system and need to know how to do it without messing up my computer.

As far as i know, Windows can t installed on external hdd. If i m in your position, i will choose dual boot since windows 7 still in beta version (i m sure if beta still having an issue). Below this line is the resources how to dual boot windows 7 with xp or vista. Just follow each steps.

Simply make a partition for both Windows 7 and Vista. Windows 7 goes to partition one and Vista goes to partition two.
