I have windows vista and dont like it. Can I replace it with windows 7? -

If I can replace windows vista how do I do that?

If you have to ask, no. 7 is a BETA - that means that it was released so that those who are beta testers can run it to report any bugs to Microsoft. Bugs can include damage to your hardware, complete wipe of your hard drive (you lose EVERYTHING), etc. It s NOT meant to be run on the computer you use. Put up with Vista until 7 is released as a non-beta. (Then you download it, burn a CD or DVD with the image [as an image, not as a file], and restart the computer with the disk. Read Microsoft s warning, though - they don t put the disclaimer in there as a joke. If you end up having to buy a new computer because of a beta release of 7, you WERE warned. I wouldn t put it on a computer that held ANY data that I considered important.

you can try this but windows 7 is beta at the mo,its like vista but with a better look and they have made big changes to the UAC witch is cool, let me know if you need any help http://www.techtree.com/India/Guides/Win...

You can replace your vista...but you need to reformat your computer to what ever program you choose. I had vista and hated it, so i went back to windows xp....if you dont know how to reformat your computer...take it to source city and they will do it for a small fee.

You can, BUT Windows 7 is a beta test program! It is not a full OS yet amp; it will only work till August of 09 then it will shut down amp; you will need to buy a copy... But if you would like to try it, here is the download link. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows...

7 is just now undergoing BETA testing. If you don t like Vista, you would need to go back to XP.

windows 7 is just like vista but faster you will have to reinstall vista 8-1 2009 gt;gt;read instructions first http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows...
