How do you revert Windows 7 beta back to XP?. Do you just use the xp disc? -

Hey, I have Windows 7 beta downloaded on my pc but not installed because i am a little confused with how i am going to uninstall it back to XP. Do you just use the xp disc and go through its setup? plz help.

yea, just restart your pc with the xp disc in the drive and when its loading up, it will ask you if you want to run the disc or what ever, do it. You ll have to fully install your XP again, you could format but then you will lose all your data, just back up your data :)

Yes, you can. When you put in the XP CD, make sure you delete the partition, it will come up and ask you in the setup screen. (don t do this unless you ve backed up everything you needed of course) After you delete the partition, you can install as normal.

yes or you can dual boot which is better in case windows 7 crashes remember beta is testing to fix problems

Back up your computer completely before installing Windows 7. Then, when you want to go back to XP, you use the XP disc to restore your system. Just remember to save any data files you made while using Windows 7 before you revert back to XP...
