yes but win7 sucks. here ill set you up a tutorial: http://lifehacker.com/5126781/how-to-dua...

You need to create a new partition if you want to know how to do that research it on Google or something. In Windows Vista and 7 there s a tool called DISKPART you have to launch Command Prompt by pressing Shift and F10 on a windows I forgot which one when Collecting Information but search it up. It allows you to make new partitions even on allocated ones. It bassicly allows you to unallocate free space on allocated space so you don t have to worry about losing data and formatting again. But if you use all the free allocated space Windows XP might have errors or say Less disk spaceo r oyu might end up with no space for XP so don t use all of the allocated space.

Your best bet would be to partition your hard drive and install the WIN 7 all by itself. It is very problematic as you have already experienced to run XP and Win 7 beta on the same drive. Best of luck!

Yes but you cannot upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7. Your only option is to repartition your hard drive or reformat. In any case back up all data before you start messing around with installing Windows 7.

has anyone checked microsoft site i did 7 is beta in its test stages and will stop working in august
