Can you install windows 7? -

If you have a computer that has 2 partition on its hard disc and one of them include windows xp, then can you install windows 7 on the other partition without changing anything the partition that includes xp? Anyone knows?

yes you can, thats what i have on my pc right now

You can install the beta version 1. But if you have a windows XP computer, you cannot and should not install it, as it will not be supported and cause you more problems then the normal bugs of beta software causes. I ve just google windows weeks ago and read up on it. I suggest you do the same.

Be cautious. You can do this, it creates a dual boot system. Unfortunately when 7 expires in August and turns itself off, unless you pay the licence fee to re-activate it you may lose the boot facility. This would disable XP as well. Remember this is only a Beta, the normal rules may not apply.
