That would be because it is the BETA version which means it is the TEST version which means that some aspects may NOT be guaranteed to work such as 3rd party applications.

After reading through a few it looks like you will have to dive into the registry to fix the problem. Windows 7 beta is still not fully launched and software u getting are only compatible till Vista version so there is no chance software getting installed on this version its like pluging in 3pin plug into 2pin socket
