Which is the more stable one? windows vista? or the upcoming windows 7? ? -

I m a little confused what to choose... is it windows vista? or windows 7? and what are the strength and their weakness? thanks for who will reply... ^_^

Hello; Call me cynical ... but what if the only reason to release a new operating system is to make more money? Perhaps the release of new software has nothing to do with technical capabilities and everything to do with making money for Microsoft stockholders?? Rather like every year the car companies have new models of cars ... not always because they have real improvements, but because the marketing department tells them to. I think that releasing a new version might be needed now, but what about all the versions that were not needed (MS Windows ME for instance) XP might have been an essential upgrade, but Vista might have been just a scam make a few bucks! I finally gave up on the whole process ... I went to Linux! Ubuntu has a new release every two years (it is scheduled so there are no surprises) ... it is a free down load with updates as needed. The older versions are supported I think for 3 years from release date (I am not too sure about that though). In response to your question: My guess is that making an operating more stable has to do with how much memory is being used. MS Windows version whatever will always be more stable than the previous version -- but it will take more memory and speed too. On a different track -- How much better is MS Office Suite 2007 than MS Office Suite 2003. There are real differences, but is it pound for pound a better product? Down with the Microsoft hegemony! Well Windows 7 isn t available yet. A beta will be released next month and as with all betas there will be bugs that need to be sorted out before the final release. The beta does promise however to give many performance, battery life, user interface and feature improvements along with a completely redesigned taskbar.

Honestly, who knows? I think they ll both be very unstable -gt; Microsoft is bringing out their operating systems too fast. They need to take time and make a stable, well working OS. I wouldn t mind waiting a year or two for that. In the meantime, I ll stick with my Mac XD

Can t say as of now because Windows 7 is still in preBETA stage.Both are good..But,Windows 7 is super fast than Vista..I have used test buildd..
