I tried to install Windows 7 beta, but Ive got error 0x800070017 what can i do? -

i have installed Windows Vista and Ubuntu 8.10 on other partitions of my computer and everything is working fine. i downloaded the .iso file an hour ago(21 jan 2009) i also tried with jan18 version(i think they are the same). Thanks for help -mamikonyana

The first thing you need know is The word BETA means EXPERIMENTAL SOFTWARE and there Microsoft doesn t support yet.Now because it s a OS meaning window s 7, XP service pack1,2,3 home , or Vista Home Premium service pack 1 Now I hope you have the recovery disc. to take it back to OS that came in the computer because that is the only way you get back the old OS. Now if it was something like yahoo messenger beta then you can remove it from by deletion.Because you are use beta version you helping to get the bugs out of it. You should read everything before you downloaded it because would have told you that. YOU ARE EXPERIMENTING FOR MICROSOFT. Live with it. Check with updates 2 times a day. This how it s done right ..Chick start , then all programs chick on window s update Then when the box comes up left corner it says check for updates Then watch your screen and do what it says. When you get updates remember to restart your computer.Or the updates well not take hold.
