Does Windows 7 requires Pixel Shader version 2? -

I just got a new PC. My heart was broken when I came to know that I ve brought GeForce 8400 GT (with 512 MB RAM) which is pixel shader version 1.4 So, I cannot run Aero interface of Vista. I just wanted to know whether Aero interface of Windows 7 also requires pixel shader version 2? If yes, then please tell me best Nvidia Graphic Card which does supports pixel shader version 2. I do not play games very much, I m a casual gamer.

Aero is overrated and you can t even use it if you re running Adobe programs like Photoshop and Illustrator, plus several other types of programs. If you have a laptop it eats your battery quickly, too. Don t be disappointed.
