Wen will Windows 7 b released? (Final version not beta)? -

I am interested in purchasing a new computer and would want to wait until the final version of Windows 7 is released and wen it would be distributed so I could purchase a computer with a better OS than vista. However if the final version wont be soon then I will get a new computer right away. Or should I wait? When will the final version be released. (I know beta is released) If possible please provide reliable sources (reliable sources cant be blogs or forums) if you cant provide a reliable source then thats ok any answer will be ok. Thanks.

It is expected to be probably released towards the end of this year. Nothing definite. You might be wise to wait a while after that because if it is like Vista it will be full of glitches at first.

I m not quite sure Windows 7 will be a better OS. I am not expecting anything better than Vista+(not saying I m not looking forward to it). I can t find any specific dates but if you want to buy a new computer you could always do so now and just upgrade later. Microsofts says they are going to make Windows 7 compatable with all hardware Vista is so you should be okay. If you do not want to go through the hasle of upgrading then just wait. It is suppose to release at the end of this year or even early next year.
