go to control panel and disable automatic updates .. start/control panel/perf-maint/system/automatic updates/disable

First of all...DON T disable automatic updates, there s some important stuff that gets sent that way too. The window that bugs you to install IE7 should have a check box that says don t show this message again...try that.
