Is it possible to get DirectX10 on Windows XP? -

I don t really want to get Vista because Windows 7 will be coming out fairly soon, so I was hoping there would be a way to get DirectX10 on Windows XP.

yes but its is only a hack direct x 9 is still the best for xp direct x 10 was designed for vista so its is buggy on xp

No You can only get DirectX 10 in Windows Vista Direct X 9.0c is perfectly fine though. You just won t get some of the Extra features (Shadowing, Lighting, and texture effects). I m personally holding out for Windows 7 myself.

I don t know, but what i DO know, is that you dont need dx10. 9c will do
