MS s line is generally if it work s on Vista it ll work on Vista. I personally havnet had any issues with any software, Office 07 included. Hardware is all running fine too, though I ve not done any gaming yet, i think the graphics driver doesn t currently support Win7. Make sure to partion your hard drive and do a clean install of Win7 to the new partion ( cos your shouldn t replace Vista with it as it s a time limited beta) Go to the link in the source for in-depth info on Win7, and the last link on the site show s you how to install Win7(I would suggest the quot;Get it off Pirate Bayquot; method, cos MS s server s are touchy atm, you only needthe CD key of MS)
I know Office 2007 works, you probably need to list specific programs here. As it s beta you can t guarentee much, be cautious of devices/drivers also. I d recommend you create a second partition and dual boot or install on a separate PC - e.g. not your primary system. http://myslowpc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.ph... lt;-- Windows 7 Info and Beta download link
you will not lose any data if when installing from your disc, you choose quot;Upgradequot; and not quot;Clean Installquot; Read the instructions: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... BTW I recently installed W7 beta and all my software ran OK including Office 2007. The Beta version is brilliant so dont be scared.
