Windows 7 Beta Question? -

I have Windows XP SP3, and am thinking about upgrading to Windows 7 Beta. I realize that on August 1st, 2009, and on August 1st, I would have to install another version of Windows. I have a image of my computer taken in 2006 with Norton Ghost. Whenever i insert the discs into my computer while it is still booting it will restore my computer to the state of 2006. Will I be able to use the disc image to reinstall Windows XP after testing Windows 7?
