Should I Upgrade to Windows 7? -

I have a dell Studio 15 with a 2.16GHz processor and 3 GB of RAM and a 256MB ATI graphics card. Should I upgrade to windows 7 beta 1 as m y primary OS. Is it stable enough to be run as a primary OS? Can I Keep all of my files and applications installed after the upgrade(Like can I insert the DVD and install and have all my files and apps installed and in the same place)?

Hi there Think back to when Xp and Vista were released. How many problems were there. Microsoft has a Habit of releasing programs and letting the public fine all the problems, then issuing service packs to fix them. my advise is, if you have a stable operating system stay with it.

Hello Bob J- My name is Jeff and I work with the Windows Outreach Team. Take a look at this link below and specifically the topic describing the risks associated with downloading Windows 7 Beta. It is not recommended that people use the Beta as their primary operating system. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows... Cheers, Jeff Windows Outreach Team

You are asking for it if you do... Not to mention the beta will have a time limit.

No, wait until the full version comes out. This is just the beta.

NO.. just plain NO
