You can be hopefull that windows will do what they did with vista and xp. What happened is anyone who purchased xp within a 2 month period of the official release of vista could fill out some paperwork -gt; send it to windows and they would then honer them for a free vista upgrade. It has been leeked that Bill Gates, and CEO Steve Ballmer have stated that they will not dissipoint anyone who purchased vista near the release of the new windows 7. (the actual quot;free windows 7quot; has not been surly decided) Good Luck
Just because you have used Beta version, MS doesn t give you any discounts on the final version. You might get an upgrade version from Vista at a discount. Better stick with your Vista till a final stable version of 7 is going to be available. You can try the Beta but after the evaluation period, then I would suggest a total wipeout and reinstall Vista.
Currently there isn t any information on the subject at all. Some people think Windows 7 might just be a quot;patchquot; on top of Vista or will be freely available to Vista owners. It might be a full, complete OS (even then, you could always get the quot;upgradequot; version with no problems)
Its def not going to be a patch. They MIGHT offer it at a discount, but you will PROBABLY have to pay.
