Im having a problem installing Windows 7 on a WD Elements hard drive.? -

Windows apparently doesn t support the hard drive, and I can t find anywhere to download the driver. Can I get a little help from someone?

Does the computer recognize the WD? My Computer is it listed there as a hard drive? If it is not recognized go to Control Panel gt; Admin Tools gt; Computer Management gt;Storage gt;Disk Management gt; locate external usb drive.Sometimes the drive letters get messed up and you have to manually assign a drive letter. Usually better to use the letter J or higher. If it is recognized and you cannot install win7 what happens or what error messages come up? THe link is FYI
