How to run Final Fantasy 7 on windows vista? -

I installed FF7 on my windows vista pc. When I double click the icon the screen goes black and then it stops working and says FF7.exe stopped working I tried it also with all the compability modes... What can I do?

you may need to get a newer version of the viewer from their website. i have got final fantasy 10 and that wont run unless i update the final fantasy viewer.
