Bad news. Don t get too attached to Windows 7. I just heard on a tech program today that Windows 7 Beta will work until August when MS plans to launch the program. In August you ll have to buy the program to continue using it. That 7 Beta you re using is an 8 month trial. August is a long time away so plans may change but I doubt if MS will be giving the program away. Beta programs are supposed to be downloaded and tested by people who kind of know what they re doing. Beta users report any problems back to MS so the program can be debugged before going public.
Most computer ether come with a hidden recovery partition and/or recovery disk. Most likely with a recovery partition. I would look up your owner s guide on how to access it during boot up. Although if you don t have a recovery partition, you will need the manufacturer to send you a copy of the restore disk. BTW Microsoft normally will never read or recognized the hidden recovery partition as they often use a non-DOS based file system. so I doubt you could access normally through windows and would have to press a certain keystroke during bootup.
if you ever want to you will have to reinstall vista which will most likely take 7 off but if you want you just have to put the vista disk (probaly came with you computer) in and change bios to boot from cd and you can just do a fresh install which will remove 7 and put vista back
Reformat your drive and reinstall Vista. You should have just partitioned your drive and loaded Windows 7 on the other partition. You cant just revert, you have to reinstall.
