Probably for the dumbed down initial release version. 7 is being touted as the next generation O/S that will revolutionize the PC industry. I know for fact that the next generation of pc s are already being tested and will probably be released first quarter next year. I am talking about different ram than we use now, different mother boards, and 8 core processors. Yes 8 core processors are already being tested and will likely be released first part of next ear. So we shall see what quot;7quot; will bring.
Windows 7 will supposedly have lower requirements than Vista, since it is being engineered to be much more lightweight and less resource intensive.
