I cant install windows 7? -

how to install windows 7(seven) I m using windows xp but I cant install it it says (Setup can not run on this version of the Operating System. To install Windows please try booting from the install media.

Are you really sure that you want to install a beta (test) version of your operating system. Beta versions are for computer experts and the software will have lots of problems which is why it is being tested. Also have you checked that your computer meets the minimum specifications needed for Windows 7? If you still want to go ahead then you need to burn the software you have downloaded onto a DVD ensuring that you make the DVD bootable - if what you have is an iso then don t worry you will be fine. Then reboot your computer with the disk in the drive. You should get a message to press any key to boot from the DVD - if you don t get that message then you need to go into your computers BIOS and change the boot order so that your DVD-ROM comes first in the list. If you don t know how to do that I would certainly question whether you are ready to run a beta OS on your computer AJ

Put the CD in the CDRom drive, Reboot the system Make sure that the bios is set to boot from a CD/DVD.
