Frankly, if you have to ask this question then you shouldn t be playing with a beta. Betas are for experienced pros. They ve been known to do things like format your hard drive, delete all your data and cause tons of problems. That s why they re betas. The beta version of an OS should be installed on hardware that s not used for anything else, and that you don t mind losing all data from.
I suggest against it, but you could try to dual boot it so you can test it.
