Will I have to install my old OS when the Windows 7 Beta is over? -

Once the beta is over for Windows 7, does that mean I will have to install my old Operating System (Windows Vista). If I do, will it erase all my data from my computer?

Hello azn boi- My name is Jeff and I work with the Windows Outreach Team. If you upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 Beta, you will have to reinstall Vista once Aug. 1 comes around. There are no plans to extend this deadline at the moment. If you dual booted, then you will have to re-partition your HD to revert to your previous OS. Either way, it is important that you back up your computer before trying out beta software. If you did this before trying Windows 7 Beta you should not have to worry about losing files. When Windows 7 is finally released, I urge you to acquire a legitimate copy of the software. Pirated versions can be riddled with viruses and cause serious damage to your computer. You will have to reinstall a different OS on your computer. And since anything you put on will be a quot;downgradequot;, you will have to reformat the drive (wiping everything) to put it on.

NO, you wont have to. They will offer you around 60 days to get a serial number for Windows 7 and then if you don t buy one then YES you will have to delete everything.

yes u have..!! and its will earse all of data

Yes, unless you buy (or pirate) windows 7
