Sry, IE7 doesn t have the floaty flag in the upper right corner, like IE6 did. It was replaced by a blue-ish circle that shows up in the left corner of a tab. So, when you click into a new website, a tab will show the word quot;Connectingquot; and the blue thing will spin circles while it s locating the website (just like the flag waved while waiting for a website). Once the website is loaded, the blue circle disappears. Also, just above the blue Windows task bar at the bottom of your screen is the IE7 taskbar. When a site is loading, you ll see a progress bar that fills with green light as the download completes. To get your Favorites sidebar to stay put, click on the yellow star in the upper left corner. That ll open the Favorites sidebar. Then, you ll see the words Favorites, Feeds, History, and a little green arrow. Click on the little green arrow and that ll pin open the Favorites sidebar. Unless you close it, by clicking on the gray x, it ll now stay open every time you open IE7. Now, to get your History, click the History button and your history will stay pinned open.
