You can t upgrade your XP to Windows 7.So you will have to install it using a boot DVD. Don t be afraid to use a beta version.. it s completely harmless. Latest is beta build 7000.Use it it s safe....
by over do you mean by not formatting the win xp drive partition,no because it is possible to loose files and experience crashes. I recommend installing win 7 on a seperate clean partition. i use one part with xp and one with win 7 and when you turn the pc on you only have to choose either win 7 or previous windows(win xp). and make shure it has about 30gb(the partition). i personally do not recommend you to install win 7 yet as it is still in beta and you may not find appropriate software( graphics, sound). wish you a happy new year. hope it helped.
Yes, if you have a PC that you use as a test machine. Windows 7 is in pre-beta form so it s not ready for prime time yet. buyer beware. Onuora http://www.windows7update.com
I would not touch windows 7 unless you are on a play machine that you are will to have many problems. Beta means Beta, lots of problems as its untested.
windows 7 is still only in BETA,so it is not safe BETA means use at ur own risk,if somethi8ng happens its not there peroblem and windows 7 is still a loooooooooong way from completion
only if your computer meets the requirements
